It's hard seeing other entrepreneurs who've been in business for years and they make it seem so easy. The day-to-day grind of being an entrepreneur is not easy. It's messy. It's hard. It's scrappy. We don't always see that side of a business we follow on Instagram or the videos we watch on IG Reels and TikTok, because sharing the difficult parts isn't as fun. I think it's necessary, though. In a world where it's easy to post only the highlights, these Friday business episodes share the behind-the-scenes grind of entrepreneurship. The good. The bad. The failures, as well as the accomplishments. Today I talk about dealing with a recent promotion that failed, and how I'm moving on from it. I hope as a fellow entrepreneur, you find value in...

You have to ask for the business you want, and you must tell your customers what actions you want them to take. Today’s episode outlines the most effective direct calls to action, explains the difference between direct and indirect calls to action, and gives you a process to use to help you feel like you aren’t always using the same calls to action every time. Using effective calls to action will make your writing more purposeful and won’t leave your customers guessing about how to do business with you.
It’s tough to stand out in today’s busy online business world, but it’s also possible. Speaking directly to the pain points and triggers of your customer will set you above the noise and establishes a relationship of know, like and trust with your customers that keep them loyal to you. Here is an outline that will help you identify the pain points of your customers, know how to use them in your marketing and copywriting, and get your customer to choose you over your industry competitors. This will help you identify the real reason your customers buy, and how you can use that to sell more of your products or services.
You only have so much time. Today's Motivation Monday is about choosing the things you are going to give your attention to and letting the rest go.
